Schreibers cone featured on ‘Eruptions’ website.

The Schreibers Meadow cinder cone, south flank of Mount Baker. Click to enlarge.

Erik Klemetti featured a photo of the little cinder cone in Schreibers Meadow as his ‘mystery volcano #32’ today on his wonderful ‘Eruptions’ blog. The post is here.

Unbelievably, someone figured it out very quickly, having seen it on the Northwest Geology Field Trips website when I wrote up a story about it.

If you don’t subscribe to Erik’s blog, and you are a volcanophile, you ought to! A great site for updates to what’s going on in the world of eruptions, with rapid links to updates, videos, photos, and good discussion, too.
